Aloha, this sculptural pendant jewelry is composed of a beautiful Plumeria flower and Kauai island in all their incredible relief and form and I call it “The Garden Isleâ€. The stunningly beautiful contrast of the rugged volcanic island of Kauai and the lush, exotic flora that thrives upon it led me to create this passionate artwork for you. If you love Kauai and its incredible beauty as much as I do, you should adorn your neckline with this wonderful and unique celebration.
There is nothing quite as beautiful as Kauai island itself with its incredibly varied and dramatic volcanic mountains, canyons, valleys, rivers and beaches, and I thoroughly enjoyed sculpting this beauty into my artwork for you. If you look carefully, you can find all of your favorite places sculpted on the island.
The Plumeria flower is iconic in its symbolism of the luscious tropical beauty of the flora of these islands, and I saw the beauty in how the islands’ natural sculpted form interplayed magically with the form of the flowers’ radiating curled petals; it was a perfect mating of the contrasts I envisioned celebrating in this piece.
You’ll love the mirror-like finish of the flower petals, reflecting the colors surrounding them, as you see in the photo of this piece on top of a back-sunlit Plumeria leaf-so exciting!

Gemstone: A gorgeous emerald-green (to celebrate the names for the island of “Garden Isle†and “Emerald Isleâ€), faceted, 3.8mm round, 0.3ct, VS, sparkling Tsavorite Garnet. This is a completely natural, untreated gemstone that I flush set in my Kauai studio.
Setting: Solid Sterling Silver hand-sculpted lost wax casting, created from recycled silver, purified, alloyed and certified to the highest standards, made in the USA. It is hand signed on the back with "Thresh" and "925".
Size: 1-1/8†round x 1/2†thick for a beautiful 3-dimensional sculpture. It is sculpted and completely finished on the back.
Patina: Created in the recesses of the sculpture to subtly contrast and accentuate the highly polished raised surfaces.
Chain: Solid Sterling Silver 1.1mm Snake chain with fine lobster clasp and subtle oxidized patina in the recesses, 18†length included.
Authenticity: I hand sign this original fine jewelry art that I personally create in my Kauai studio, as this shows my pride in my unique design and fine workmanship. The jewelry art photographed is virtually the same as the piece I will ship with very minor variations due to the hand crafting I create this piece with.
